Independent research on lock-pattern use (e.g. Løge, 2015, "Tell Me Who You Are and I Will Tell You Your Lock Pattern") consistently finds the same handful of shape families over and over: short strokes, single letters, corners-only squares, and their mirrored/rotated cousins. This gallery is a representative set of 100 such shapes and variants — every one of them is a bad choice precisely because it's this common.

How scoring works, honestly: both meters here use simplified heuristics (length, character variety, direction changes, repeated shapes, and a match check against the lists on this page) to illustrate why certain patterns and passwords are risky. They are teaching tools, not a certified cryptographic audit — a real attacker's toolkit is more advanced. If a pattern or password of yours shows up on either list, that alone is reason enough to change it.
